ZERMA Machinery and Recycling Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. was founded in Shanghai in June 1999.
The facility is located approximately 35 km from the city centre in a modern industrial area in the Songjiang district.
ZERMA is committed to follow the tradition of ZERMA Maschinenbau Germany in manufacturing machinery for the plastics and recycling industries. Our philosophy is to concentrate on size reduction of various materials and perfect this process. This dedication ensures the best possible result for our customers.
The Shanghai facility designs and manufactures, both for domestic market distribution and our world wide ZERMA subsidiaries such as:
ZERMA North America, ZERMA Germany, ZERMA UK, ZERMA Thailand, ZERMA Australasia, ZERMA Latin America and various OEM partners and agencies.
Our machines are developed and built in a 60,000 m2 facility by a multi national team from China, Germany, U.K. and Malaysia.
Due to modern and efficient production processes and machinery we are able to completely manufacture our size reduction machines in house largely independent of suppliers and out sourcing. This allows us to control the quality in all stages of the production.
Our machinery range includes:
- "Beside the press granulators" for the injection and blow molding industries.
- Compact Granulators optionally with soundproofing used as a central granulator in various plastics processes.
- Heavy Duty Granulators for recycling companies with high demands for built quality and throughput.
- Single Shaft Shredders for recycling application such as: Plastics and Wood industries as well as electronic and industrial recycling businesses.
- Specialized pipe-shredding systems to grind pipes of up to 1300 mm diameter down to a reusable granule without the need for pre cutting.
- Tire Recycling lines designed to process different tire types down to varying final sizes.
- Wood shredders
- Fine grinding systems to create a flowing powder form various plastics.
- As well as a range of auxiliary equipment, such as suction systems, conveyors and de-dusting units.
The ZERMA engineering department will tailor machines to customers’ specific needs. Often machines need to fit into existing workshop layouts, or specifically equipped for highly abrasive or dirty materials.
Our research and development team is working closely with our agencies and customers to find new trends and react accordingly.
All control systems are developed, designed and programmed in house by our team of experienced and skilled staff.
The use of high quality component suppliers ensures worldwide availability and that our machines meet CE or other regional regulations.
We have a dedicated testing area used to develop new designs, run trials with customers’ materials. Here we also have the opportunity to run machines at any voltage and frequency to ensure they work as expected worldwide.
A dedicated and skilled service team ensures spare parts service, installation and training in customers’ facilities worldwide.
